Daniela Arriado is a Chilean-Norwegian curator, advisor, and cultural strategist working at the intersection of contemporary art, emerging technologies, and public space.

She is currently Artistic Director and Guest Curator for Manar Abu Dhabi 2027, the third edition of the experiential light art exhibition organized by Public Art Abu Dhabi at the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi.   

Daniela is the founder and Artistic Director of Art Republic and Screen City Biennial (SCB), a platform dedicated to the expanded moving image. Through these initiatives, she has developed international collaborations, new artistic commissions, exhibitions, publications, and site-responsive projects with artists and institutions across different geographical and cultural contexts. Her curatorial practice explores how contemporary art and digital culture intersect with society, architecture, technology, and the public realm, often extending beyond conventional exhibition formats.

Alongside her curatorial work, Daniela advises cities, cultural institutions, fairs and collections internationally on artistic programmes, commissions, and long-term strategies.

She is Vice Chair of IKT – International Association of Curators of Contemporary Art, an Ambassador for the Lumen Prize, and a member of the Artistic Vision Council of CIFRA. Across these roles, she is committed to fostering intercultural exchange, knowledge-sharing, and partnerships between artists, institutions, brands and cultural ecosystems.

Based in Stavanger, Norway, Daniela works across the Nordic region and internationally.
