Daniela Arriado is a Chilean-Norwegian advisor, curator and cultural producer dedicated to contemporary art and new technologies. As the founder and artistic director of Art Republic - platform for art, technology and public space, and of Screen City Biennial (SCB), dedicated to the expanded moving image, she has collaborated with internationally renowned artists and organizations to realize forward-thinking exhibitions, public art commissions, and immersive experiences. Her work reflects a dedication to fostering dialogue between art, digital culture and society, with a focus on creating transformative cultural experiences, often resulting in projects that expand traditional exhibition-format boundaries.

Arriado led four successful editions of SCB as artistic director, catering an extended list of new commissions, lectures, publications. She currently works as a strategic advisor for city councils on the development of public art and community programs, and institutions and collections aiming to expand their program towards the realm of art and new media, alongside implementing sustainable practices.   

As a professional deeply committed to the principles of intercultural exchanges and transfer of knowledge, she is an active board member of IKT - International Association of Curators of Contemporary Art, representing the professional interests of contemporary curators worldwide, and also a member of prize and grant committees aiming to support the development of emerging artists.

Arriado works between countries and regions, and after a decade in Berlin, she relocated to her hometown Stavanger, Norway.
